Colossal prospect Edy Tavares is a raw specimen with great potential as a rim protector; a second-round pick in 2014, he looks to earn a spot in Coach Mike Budenholzer’s rotation in his sophomore campaign – largely spent his first professional season in the D-League; with an incredible wingspan (7’9) and nice activity in the glass, Edy is slated to turn heads once awarded real minutes, though it’s uncertain when (if) he’ll earn a full-time role; is Edy the plug in the middle? – shouldn’t you, at absolute minimum, be able to throw Tavares out there for 15 minutes/night & have him block a couple shots and get a few tip-ins?*; the most unknown 7-footer in the league? – the sooner everyone else hears about Edy the better

*Should you be able to? Of course • Will you be able to anytime soon? TBD
