Nerlens Noel (DAL) – “The Nerlen Wall” nike

(Jerome Miron/USA TODAY Sports)

Profile:

DAL Power Forward/Center: 6’11, 228 lbs; 4th year, Kentucky

NBA Role: two-way, hybrid big • Star UnderDOG

Nerlens Noel is finally outta Philly! – acquired by DAL at the deadline (Feb. ’17); Noel is just a different vibe – can play either inside spot, is an absolute stat-sheet stuffer: makes an honorable impact in every category, especially in blocks & steals; slight frame, though Noel’s done a nice job of help-side swatting and closing out on shooters; offense is a work in progress – Nerlens isn’t a natural scorer but is nifty w/ his left hand, can finish roll catches over the top and is active on the o-boards; needs to either fix the hitch in his J or develop into a bonafide stopper up front; star in the making? – there’s no questioning his upside – can Rick Carlisle maximize his unique talents?

Signature Shot: quick lefty floater
